EAU CLAIRE, WI: Eau Claire’s newest coworking space is set to host their grand opening next month on Thursday, May 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The grand opening will feature a showcase with members of the space who are currently involved in starting their own business. These businesses range from student run businesses, to businesses who are looking to make an impactful difference here in Eau Claire and other communities around the world.
Community Manager Elaine Coughlin is excited for the opportunity for those who have been using the space. “Although CoLab just recently opened, we’re already able to see what a coworking space like this can do for our community. Eau Claire is very much an entrepreneur-driven community and we cannot wait to see how CoLab can serve remote workers as well as startups,” Coughlin said.
CoLab released membership sales in early April at various levels including dedicated style memberships as well as more flexible membership options. Dedicated memberships offer members a desk that includes a locker with key access for personal belongings and partitions for member privacy. The more flexible membership offers members access to the common space floating desks equipped with power stations on a first come, first serve basis. All membership levels provide access to meeting rooms, phone booths and additional complimentary amenities provided by CoLab.
CoLab’s grand opening is open to the public and is sponsored by Associated Bank with Chippewa Valley Tours providing catering. The public is welcome to explore the space, learn more about memberships, converse with CoLab members and startups as well as enjoy food and beverages.
CoLab is a startup and entrepreneurial coworking community based in the heart of Eau Claire, WI.
